It shares borders with the provinces of Zeeland, South Holland, Gelderland, and Limburg, and it also borders Belgium to the south. The provincial capital is 's-Hertogenbosch, commonly referred to as Den Bosch. Another major city in North Brabant is Eindhoven, which is known for being a technology and design hub, partly due to the presence of the multinational corporation, Philips.
